When should I send a Kwanzaa invitation?
Two to three weeks before the evening you are hosting.
Kwanzaa
Name which day you are gathering, the time, and who you hope will be there.
Kwanzaa is a seven-day African American celebration of heritage, from 26 December. Each night a candle is lit on the kinara, and one evening is the karamu, a feast.

A great way to invite people for Kwanzaa is to name which of the seven days you are hosting and what time you will gather. A first-night lighting and a karamu are different invitations.
Send it two to three weeks ahead. If guests are welcome to bring fruit for the table, say so in one line.
